Swedish Massage is one of the most common and effective massage therapy modalities. With the pressure of our everyday lives, stress is very common and can be very harmful to our health. Swedish Massage both calms the nervous system and relaxes muscular tension by decreasing the level of cortisol- stress hormone. The main goal is to achieve a sedative effect through mental and physical relaxation. A Swedish massage is usually done with slow and gentle pressure, but it can be adjusted if needed.
Our therapists will create for you a warm and welcoming atmosphere, where soft lighting and gentle music craft the perfect ambiance for relaxation.

Deep Tissue Massage
Deep tissue massage targets areas of knots and adhesions, tension and tightness. The therapist will apply focused pressure to the deep layers of muscles, fascia, and connective tissues. It also works to break down scar tissue-the fibres of tissue that are laid down in order to provide some healing to injured tissue. Over time as scar tissue is created, it becomes more and more adhered to the surrounding tissue, causing restrictions in mobility. Deep tissue massage is popular among people who are recovering from muscle injuries due to sports or an accident.

Cupping Massage

Cupping is a safe, traditional treatment, ancient form of alternative medicine that helps resolve chronic muscle tightness and pain faster than massage therapy alone. In traditional Chinese medicine, it is also thought to increase the flow of qi (vital energy). The therapist puts special cups on the skin to create suction. This causes the tissue beneath the cup to be drawn up and swell causing increase in blood flow to affected area. The cup may be left in place for several minutes and then removed. After your session, the cups may leave bruise or bruise-like marks on your treated areas. The color of the marks can range from a bright red to a dark purple, usually lasting for a week, sometimes a bit longer.

Hot Stones Massage
Hot Stone Massage is an ancient practice that uses heated natural Basalt stones. The session starts with a traditional Swedish Massage to prepare the muscles. Using a stone heater, your therapist heats the clean, sanitized stones to temperatures between 110 and 130° Fahrenheit. This is the ideal temperature range to warm your muscles without burning skin. The therapist then places the warm stones on the acupuncture points on the body along your spine, on your chest, feet, palms, and even your face. The weight and heat of the stones relax the muscle to allow deeper pressure during the massage.

Our reception team will manage all the insurance paperwork and billing processes for you, ensuring a seamless and stress-free experience. This will enable you to prioritize your health without any distractions.

If your plan requires a doctor note , bring it with you for your first appointment. We do what we can, but direct billing is not always guaranteed. If you know that you do have coverage for massage services, but your insurer does not allow direct billing, you will have to pay for the service upfront and we will provide you with the receipt to seek reimbursement from your insurance company.
