In most cases, massage therapy is safe and beneficial for individuals with various medical conditions. However, it is essential to inform your massage therapist about any health concerns, medical conditions, or injuries you have. This allows them to customize the treatment and make any necessary modifications to ensure your safety and provide appropriate care. Consulting with your healthcare provider beforehand can also provide guidance on whether massage therapy is suitable for your specific condition.
The most important thing for you is to be comfortable and able to relax. It’s also important to remember that no matter how much you disrobe during a professional massage, you’ll always be draped with a sheet or towel so only the area being worked on is uncovered.
And if you’re more comfortable leaving all of your clothes on, I’m trained in techniques that can be applied while you’re fully clothed. However, make sure you wear loose-fitting, comfortable clothes since I will often do a lot of stretching in this situation.
Massage may sometimes feel intense, especially when addressing areas of tension, but it should never be painful. While some discomfort may arise as your therapist works through tight muscles or knots, the pressure should always be within your comfort level. Any pain should be communicated so the therapist can adjust accordingly. A slightly uncomfortable sensation can be beneficial, as it helps to release muscle tension, but it should never feel overwhelming or counterproductive to your healing. The goal is always to provide relief and promote relaxation, not to cause pain.
Yes, there is such a thing as too much pressure. While it’s normal to feel some discomfort during a therapeutic massage, the pressure should always be within your tolerance level. It’s important to communicate with your therapist if the pressure feels too intense or painful. Massage is meant to promote relaxation, relieve tension, and improve circulation, not cause pain or discomfort that lingers. The goal is to strike a balance that allows your body to release tension without overexerting it. Always feel free to speak up if you need adjustments to the pressure. Your comfort and well-being are the top priority.
A deep tissue massage focuses on specific problem areas, using targeted techniques and deep pressure to reach the deeper layers of muscle. It’s ideal for chronic pain, muscle tension, and injury recovery, as it addresses each individual muscle in the affected area to promote relief and mobility.
A Swedish relaxation massage is usually a full-body treatment, designed to relieve tension, reduce stress, and improve circulation. The pressure can be light, medium, or deep, depending on your preference. Instead of focusing on a single problem area, it works on muscle groups as a whole, helping to ease general discomfort and promote relaxation.
We always encourage you to communicate with your therapist—a combination of techniques is always possible to ensure the best experience for your needs!
Absolutely Yes! Regular massage sessions can help maintain muscle flexibility, improve circulation, and reduce the risk of developing chronic tension or injuries. By addressing minor discomforts early, massage therapy can prevent them from becoming more significant issues. It also supports stress management, boosts the immune system, and enhances overall body awareness, helping you stay proactive about your health and well-being. Investing in preventive massage therapy is an excellent way to keep your body functioning at its best.
We all have parts of our body we’re self-conscious about. Some areas you may be concerned about are: weight, unwanted body hair, scars, acne or other skin blemishes. Please don’t let this stop you from getting help from a massage therapist. If you’re sensitive about a particular area, ask your massage therapist to avoid it. You can also opt for a fully clothed massage. Whatever your concerns, know that you are in a friendly, supportive and judgment-free place.
We recommend going to the washroom before your session, but it can occasionally happen that you’ll need to go during the massage. We want you to be relaxed, so if you’re focusing on holding it in, it’ll interfere with your experience. So do speak up, and I will let you know where the washroom is.

It is never a requirement to tip. The ultimate gratuity is not gratuity, but re-booking the next massage.
The face and neck have a structure similar to the rest of the body: bones, muscles, skin, connective tissue, blood and lymph—and the face requires the same attention as the rest of the body to keep fit and healthy.
Unique and patented massage techniques and manual lymph drainage are perfect tools. Massage helps to increase circulation, promoting oxygenation of facial muscles and tissues. It also removes adhesions and scar tissue between muscle fibers and fascia. Manual lymph drainage removes metabolic wastes by pushing them to lymph nodes for disposal. This paves the way for nutrients to flow through clean blood plasma, resulting in nourished and rejuvenated skin.
Facial massages can be done at any age! The earlier you start, the longer you will look fresh, young, toned and beautiful.
After 35 years old, we recommend that you include a Face Lifting massage to your monthly list of procedures to take care of your face and neck and stay young longer.
Some women, for many reasons, already have age-related wrinkles at the age of 25 and they can be smoothed with the help of facial massages.
When facial muscles contract, they displace surface skin on our face. These highly organized displacements cause furrows, wrinkles, ridges and bulges, which we call facial expression. Unfortunately, repetitive facial expressions lead to tension in certain muscle groups.
These contracted muscles are no longer able to return to their original form, neither is the surface skin on top, and here’s how folds and wrinkles are appear. After Face Lifting massage, the muscles relaxed, wrinkles soften, the whole face looks more youthful and relaxed.
Buccal massage is a specific technique that targets the lower face, lips and jaw area. This technique performed inside of the mouth (buccal massage). This allows better access to lower face muscles, making it a wonderful treatment for sculpting, relaxing and improving lower facial tone.
